Situated along the highway, amidst lush rice fields and pristine shorelines, the school has been an integral part of the local landscape for nearly a century.
Established in 1930 as the Maslug Community School, this humble institution began its journey with a single classroom building, offering education to the young minds of Grades 1 and 2. Spearheaded by the visionary efforts of its first teacher, Mr. Pio Montalban, and with the generous donation of land by the Polistico family, the school laid its foundational stones for generations to come.
With the passage of time, Maslug Elementary School expanded its horizons, progressively adding higher grade levels. By the 1960s, it welcomed Grades 3 and 4, followed by Grade 5 in 1976, and finally completing its primary education offering with Grade 6 in 1997. The year 1978 marked a significant milestone with the school's inaugural graduation ceremony, a testament to its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
