History
Kambonggan Elementary School is situated 11 kilometers away from the town of Baybay and strategically positioned along the bustling highway, our school has been a beacon of education in the community. Since its establishment in 1967, it has undergone transformative phases, evolving from a multigrade school to a complete elementary institution in the school year 2022-2023. This significant transition was prompted by a surge in enrollment, driven by the compassionate accommodation of pupils displaced from Mailhi Elementary School after the devastating impact of typhoon Agaton. Founded in 1967, our school embarked on a journey that would shape its identity and purpose. Initially operating as a multigrade institution, it later transitioned into a complete elementary school in the academic year 2022-2023 to meet the educational demands arising from the unfortunate circumstances faced by the displaced pupils of Mailhi Elementary School. This pivotal moment marked a commitment to providing quality education amidst challenging circumstances. The school's growth and development continued as it transformed into a complete monograde institution in the school year 2022-2023, streamlining its focus on delivering targeted and effective education. In 2018, a testament to our commitment, three DepEd standard buildings were erected, providing a conducive learning environment for our students. Behind every success story are influential figures who have contributed to the school's journey. Their dedication and leadership have played a pivotal role in shaping the institution's character and fostering an environment conducive to growth and achievement. Our school proudly stands as a testament to academic and extracurricular excellence. We clinched the title of Champion School Newsletter during the 2023 Division Press Conference. Additionally, our learners showcased their intellectual prowess by securing first place in the district spelling contest and an impressive second place in the cluster competition. The school also made waves in the creative realm, winning first place in the district cosplay contest, securing 1st place in the cluster, and achieving an outstanding 2nd place in the division level of the same category. Beyond the classroom, our school actively engages with the community. We participated wholeheartedly in barangay anniversary activities, organized feeding programs, and contributed to tree planting initiatives. These endeavors not only enhance our students' sense of civic responsibility but also strengthen our bonds with the local community. Our journey has not been without challenges. Overcoming obstacles has been a key part of our story. From adapting to changes in enrollment to facing the aftermath of natural disasters, the school has undergone transformations that have tested our resilience and commitment to providing quality education. These challenges have become steppingstones toward a brighter and more resilient future. As we reflect on our journey, from the school's foundation to its current stature, we recognize the collective effort, determination, and unwavering spirit that define our institution. With a legacy of achievements, community involvement, and transformative growth, our school stands as a beacon of inspiration and resilience, committed to shaping the future of generations to come.
