What began as a humble complete elementary school in 1943-1975. The school has burgeoned into primary educational haven from 1976-1986, nurturing generations of minds and fostering academic brilliance. From 1987 up to present, the school became a multigrade school serving at its utmost excellency.
The journey of our school mirrors the growth and transformation of our community. From its early days under the steadfast leadership of Hon. Felipe Arandia, who laid the groundwork for educational excellence, to the tenure of Hon. Fabain Bandalan,Hon. Hilario Lao, Hon.Maria Valenzona ,Hon.Florentina Valenzona and Hon. Rubylin Lao whose dedication and vision propelled our institution into a new era of comprehensive learning. Now, guided by the capable hands of Hon. Orlando L. Dr.Raquel Torres , assumed the role of school head in 2008, embarking on a transformative journey that continued until 2012. Her tenure laid the foundation for subsequent leaders, including Dr.Evelyn L. Sanico , who took charge in 2012, diligently overseeing the school's operations for the following year. In 2013, Dr. Marilou M. Soria assumed leadership, contributing her vision to the educational landscape until 2014. Mrs.Gina C. Oquias followed suit, serving as the school head from 2014 to 2015, making significant strides in educational initiatives. Mr. William I. Sapiler briefly held the position in 2015, contributing to the school's legacy during that period. Dr. Henry M. Cornico assumed leadership in 2016 and continued until 2017, fostering a culture of academic excellence. Mrs. Janet B. Bongot took over in 2018, providing steadfast guidance until 2019. The current school head, Dr. Estrella P. Oquias, assumed office in 2020 and is steering Gubang Elementary School towards a promising future until 2024.
