History
Caridad
Elementary School, originally known as Caridad Community School, stands as a
beacon of educational history, tracing its roots back to the American Regime in
the 1930s to 1940s. Since its inception, this educational institution has been
a pivotal force in the local community, playing a vital role in its growth,
confronting challenges head-on, and contributing significantly to the
development of noteworthy individuals.
The school's journey began during the
American Regime, marked by the construction of the iconic Gabaldon Building, a
cornerstone of its early infrastructure. This period also witnessed the
establishment of the Rizal monument, symbolizing the school's commitment to
historical and cultural values. The Gabaldon Building, originally designed for
educational purposes, took on a different role during World War II, serving as
a campsite and shelter for American soldiers. Mr. Sabas Avila's generous
donation of land further solidified the school's foundation, with the addition
of the Home Economics Building as a testament to early structural expansion.
Under the capable leadership of Mr.
Meano and Mr. Jose Abapo, the first principals, Caridad Elementary School
flourished, expanding to include two sections in each grade level. This growth
trend continued over the years, reaching three to four sections per grade
level. Funding from both government and private institutions facilitated the
construction of additional buildings, including the Marcos type building,
Maharlika building, Bagong Lipunan building, and the Philippine-Japan Manning
Consultative Incorporated Building, contributing to the school's physical and
academic development.
The school's legacy extends beyond its
physical structures, with notable alumni like Bishop Valiant Diagbel making
significant contributions to society. These influential figures exemplify the
quality education and values instilled by Caridad Elementary School.
Academically and in extracurricular
pursuits, the school has consistently excelled, participating and succeeding at
district, division, regional, and even national levels. Krizelle Jane Abajon's
achievement in the Palarong Pambansa, particularly in athletics, stands as a
testament to the school's commitment to holistic development under the guidance
of Mr. Jesus Borneo.
Caridad Elementary School is not just

participating in events such as Barangay Fiesta, Founding Anniversary
