Bunga National High School traces its roots to the year 1979 when it was founded to cater to the educational needs of young adults in Barangay Bunga and its neighboring areas. The school's inception

Over the years, Bunga National High School has witnessed substantial growth and development. From its humble beginnings, the school has evolved to meet the changing educational landscape. In 2018, a pivotal transition occurred as the institution embraced the K- 12 curriculum, expanding its offerings to include senior high school tracks. This evolution has empowered the school to better prepare its students for the challenges of the modern world.

At the helm of Bunga National High School's success is its dedicated leader, Hon. Anamelle Macariola Bantaculo, who serves as the governing force guiding the institution toward excellence.
